Sea Temperature: Warm

Distance Covered:

Got down to the Estuary about 9:15 and rigged up my 7.5 and Sarah's 7.0.

By the time we got out the wind was dropping off. I managed to get planing on the first couple of reaches, but then the wind fell away. We went over towards Aberdyfi to find wind, but the rough water was more to do with the tide than the wind.

Ended up doing some Flare gybes and Heli-tacks.

By the time we were packing up the Estuary was three deep in cars, and they had parked so close to us that we struggled getting everything back onto the trailer. The people next to us were using the trailer as a windbreak, and didn't look too happy when we started spreading water and sand all over them, (I have to admit I didn't try too hard to prevent sand flying around.)

Then some woman nearly blocked me in and gave me a right dirty look when I asked her to move. I don't want to wish my life away, but roll on September.
